We've all found that buying good furniture is expensive. I decided that I would not invest in expensive furniture until I'm well into retirement. What with kids, cats, dogs, and the like, good furniture gets all scratched and gouged. You take a $30 particleboard bookcase and invest $10 of materials and you've got a piece of furniture that will last years.

Power tools you'd like to have on hand
I primarily use 3 tools ... a cordless drill/screw driver, a table saw, and a chop saw.
So... once we have our tools, what do we do to reinforce the particleboard furniture? We have a set of drawers that we set up an aquarium on, and now the top is bowing. We have to act fast!!! Thanks!
